Rotisserie
Rotisseries are extremely simple 2-step machines which pass through 2 side stars.
Created by Graeme and Lux, they are absolutely Classic.
In my opinion, machines in this class are some of the best machines. They are simple in terms of the axis of rotation (see for example the 1-Base foot slide machine, Hip Slide).
The classic Rotisseries are 4 total on each side, that I call Rotisserie, Rewind Rotisserie, Reverse Rotisserie and Rewind Reverse Rotisserie. Which is which is a matter of convention. There's videos with Graeme and Lux with two of these being named "Rotisserie". I asked Lux which one was the original and he told me the "original design" was to an Inside Star.
I now refer to the Inside Star one as "Rotisserie". The Inside Star one is also likely the one that is most often performed, and its transitions are used in other classics: Naked Singularity and Revolution.
The Rotisserie is well described by:
Inside Star > Reverse Outside Star > Inside Star.
A video of the Rewind Reverse Rotisserie (which I had named as Rotisserie previously):
I love the Rotisserie concept, and have explored it in different ways, like mixing it with poses to make Singularity machines, like the Classic Naked Singularity.
